Driving lamps, fog lamps and daytime running lights

A driving lamp adds long-range light to main beam. A fog lamp throws a low, wide beam under fog and spray and is used only when visibility drops below 100m. A daytime running light switches on with the ignition to make the vehicle visible in daylight and has been required on new vehicles since 2011. All three are E-marked road lamps.
