LED work lights

An LED work light is a lamp that floods a work area around a tractor, telehandler, trailer or yard with light from light-emitting diodes, using a fifth of the current of a halogen work lamp and lasting more than 20,000 hours. LED work lights fit the same bolt and bracket positions as the halogen lamps they replace, on cab roofs, mudguards, bonnets and implement frames. LED work light beam patterns and output

Flood beam LED work lights spread light across 60 to 90 degrees for close work such as hitching, loading and feeding; spot and long-range beams narrow to 10 to 30 degrees to light a field edge or a road 100 metres ahead. Output is stated in effective lumens on every product page, and 1,500 to 2,500 lumens is the usual range for a cab-roof lamp. Colour temperature sits between 5,000K and 6,500K, which is closer to daylight than the 3,200K of a halogen lamp and reduces eye strain on long night shifts. Choosing an LED work light for a tractor

Match the lamp to the supply voltage, the mounting position and the exposure to washing and slurry. Multivolt 12/24V lamps suit a mixed fleet; the 12V work lights and 24V work lights pages list single-voltage units. An IP67 or IP69K rating means the lamp survives pressure washing at close range, which the work lights on cab roofs and rear mudguards need. Deutsch DT plugs and screened cables reduce radio interference on machines with GPS guidance.
