John Deere work lights
John Deere work lights are the flood and spot lamps fitted to the cab roof, bonnet, mudguards and rear pillars of John Deere tractors, and this page lists replacement and upgrade units by series and model. John Deere fits Hella work lamps to many series from the factory, so the aftermarket Hella units here share the mounts, plugs and beam patterns of the originals. Work light positions on John Deere tractors
John Deere cab designs from the 6000 series onwards carry work lights in four positions: front roof lamps lighting the loader, rear roof lamps lighting the hitch and implement, mudguard lamps lighting the wheel and drawbar, and bonnet lamps for the road ahead when the roof lamps are switched off. Each position uses a specific housing, and the 6010 to 6030 series, the 6R, 7R and 8R series and the older 40 and 50 series differ in lamp shape and plug. Each product page names the John Deere models it fits and the matching John Deere part number, and the model filter on the left narrows the list to one tractor.
Upgrading John Deere work lights to LED
LED work lamps in the same housing as the halogen originals plug into the existing connector on most John Deere series and cut the current draw per lamp from 4.6A to around 1A, which lets an older 6000 series carry a full set of eight lamps within its alternator capacity.
