Vehicle lighting guides: trailers, telehandlers and farm vehicles
Vehicle lighting guides cover the machines that work alongside a tractor: trailers, telehandlers, sprayers, combines, pickups, quads and UTVs. Each vehicle type has its own lighting requirement on the road and its own working lights in the field, and the section holds 12 guides that set out both.

Trailer and implement lighting
A trailer needs tail, brake and indicator lamps, a rear fog lamp, red rear reflectors, a lit number plate and, above 1.6 metres wide, front position lamps; long trailers add amber side marker lamps every 3 metres. Implements wider than the tractor need marker lamps and reflectors at the extremities. The guides give the positions and the LED rear lights and marker lights that meet them.
Telehandlers, quads and other vehicles
Telehandlers and loaders run 12V or 24V systems and carry work lights on the boom and cab, plus a beacon for road use. Quads and UTVs run 12V with small alternators, so LED lamps are the practical upgrade. The guides cover each vehicle's electrical system, the lamps that suit it and the rules that apply when it uses the road.
