The Flat Beam 500 LED from HELLA is a compact LED worklight with an elegant design. The housing depth of only 30 mm is ideal for mounting situations with little space. The light disk of the Flat Beam 500 LED was specially developed so that even when mounted on a flat wall, the light beams are directed towards the floor at a 45° angle. This ensures good illumination of the working area even when mounted flat. This highly efficient worklight features 30 energy-efficient LEDs that consume only 7 watts of power. To achieve the same amount of light with a 12 volt halogen headlamp, 55 watts (e.g. H3) are needed. The reduced energy consumption of the vehicle minimises energy costs and protects the environment. The light output of 550 lumens is sufficient to homogeneously illuminate the working environment in the near-field area. This worklight can be operated with either 12 or 24 volts. The integrated electronics protect the unit in the event of reverse polarity and ensures constant brightness even with a fluctuating operating voltage of 9 to 32 volts. The extremely flat design allows flexible mounting options, e.g. on the rear wall of trucks. Thanks to its plastic housing, the Flat Beam 500 LED is not susceptible to corrosion and is therefore ideal for use under the toughest conditions.
