Since July 2006, a new law has applied to the lighting equipment of newly registered commercial vehicles and trailers (legal regulations also apply to conversing or retrofitting): The rear mounting of type-approved reversing lights is permitted. Recently, the legislator has permitted the installation of one additional reversing light on each side of the wagon. The previously tolerated rear mounting of fog lights is prohibited. The use of worklights as reversing lights remains prohibited.
