Pins and Clips
Pins and clips are the hardware that locates and retains parts on a tractor and its implements: split pins and cotter pins through castle nuts, roll pins and dowel pins in shafts and housings, lynch pins and hitch pins on linkage and drawbars, circlips and snap rings on shafts and bores, and hair pin and retaining clips on levers and rods. The range holds John Deere part-number pins and clips with fitment, plus general packs by size.

Choosing pins and clips
Size a split pin by the hole diameter and the length beyond the nut; a roll pin by its diameter and the length of the bore; a circlip by the shaft or bore diameter it fits, external or internal. Lynch pins are sized by pin diameter and usable length. Where the part is on a John Deere machine, search the part number and the page lists the models it fits. Springs sit under springs, and nuts and bolts under threaded fasteners.
