Threaded fasteners are the nuts, bolts, set screws, socket screws, machine screws, washers and seals that hold a tractor and its implements together. This range holds fasteners by John Deere part number for repairs that call for the original size, thread and grade, plus general workshop fasteners in metric and imperial sizes for everything else. Each product page states the thread size, length and head type where the manufacturer gives it, and the John Deere lines list the tractor models they fit.

Types of threaded fastener in this range
The range splits into six groups. Nuts covers hexagon, flanged, nyloc and lock nuts. Bolts and Studding covers hexagon head bolts, carriage bolts, eyebolts and studs. Set Screws covers hexagon head screws that thread along their full length, the most common fastener on tractor body panels and brackets. Socket Screws covers cap head, button head and grub screws driven with a hex key. Machine Screws covers pan head, countersunk and slotted screws for lighter fixings. Washers and Seals covers plain, spring, lock and shouldered washers, O-rings and sealing washers such as sump plug seals.
Choosing the right fastener
Match four things: thread size (M8, M10, 3/8 inch and so on), length, head type and grade. Grade 8.8 suits general brackets and guards; grade 10.9 is specified where the original fastener carries a 10.9 marking, such as wheel and axle fixings. Where a John Deere part number is known, search for it directly and the page lists the models it fits.
