Light and Power
Light and power covers torches, head torches, hand lamps and inspection lights, workshop batteries, jump leads, battery chargers and auto bulbs. This is the portable and workshop lighting range; the lamps fitted to the tractor itself are under tractor lighting.
Types of product in this range
Torches covers LED hand torches and head torches, rechargeable and battery powered. Hand Lamps and Work Lights covers rechargeable inspection lamps, magnetic work lights and lead lamps for under-tractor work. Batteries covers AA, AAA, C, D, 9V and button cells by the pack. Jump Leads and Chargers covers heavy duty jump leads, booster packs and 12V and 24V battery chargers and maintainers. Auto Bulbs covers halogen headlight bulbs, indicator and tail bulbs and miniature bulbs in trade packs. Electronic Devices covers multimeters and battery testers.
Choosing portable lighting and power
A rechargeable magnetic work light with a 1,000 lumen output lights an engine bay or a trailer underside without a lead. Jump leads for tractors need a heavier cable than car leads: 35mm or 50mm copper cable handles a 24V system and cold-start currents. Keep a charger rated for both 12V and 24V if the fleet mixes older 12V tractors with 24V machines. The full range of headlight, indicator and tail bulbs by fitting type is under bulbs.
