John Deere tractor headlights

John Deere tractor headlights are replacement headlamp units for John Deere series from the 20 series of the 1970s through the 6000, 6R, 7R and 8R ranges, listed here by model so the lamp matches the cab and the wiring. John Deere fits Hella headlamps to many series from the factory, and the aftermarket Hella units on this page use the same housing, bulb and plug. This range covers 23 John Deere tractor headlights in halogen and LED, 12V and 24V.

John Deere headlight fitment by series

Bonnet-mounted headlights on the John Deere 6010, 6020 and 6030 series use rectangular halogen units with an H4 bulb, and the 6R and 7R series moved to a cab-mounted design with separate dipped, main and work functions. Older 30 and 40 series tractors, such as the 2140 and 3140, use round 130mm or 160mm halogen headlamps in a bonnet cowl, with left and right-hand versions where the beam is asymmetric. Each product page names the compatible John Deere models and the John Deere part number where one exists, and the filter on the left narrows the list to one model.

Upgrading John Deere headlights to LED

LED headlamp modules fit the same apertures as the halogen units on most John Deere series and plug into the standard H4 connector, so the upgrade needs no wiring change. Multivolt 12/24V LED units cover both the 12V tractors and the 24V systems on larger machines. The LED tractor headlights page lists every LED unit in the range, and the John Deere tractor lights page covers beacons, work lights, tail lights and indicators for the same models. The complete tractor headlights range includes every other make.
