1. Who we are
1.1 www.agri-lighting.co.uk (the Website) is owned and operated by Nick Young Tractor Parts Ltd, trading as Agri Lighting, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 07716986, VAT number GB 667 356 205. Our registered office and trading address is Unit 2, The Forge, Moor Road, North Owersby, Market Rasen, Lincolnshire LN8 3PR, United Kingdom.
1.2 You can contact us by email at [email protected], by phone on 01522 440522 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) or by post at the address above.
1.3 These Terms apply to every order placed through the Website. By placing an order you agree to them. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
1.4 Where these Terms refer to a consumer, they mean an individual buying for purposes wholly or mainly outside their trade, business or profession. Business customers are covered by the same Terms except where a clause says otherwise.
2. Products and information
2.1 We sell replacement and aftermarket lighting, electrical parts and workshop consumables for tractors, trailers and farm machinery. Manufacturer names and part numbers are used only to identify which machines a part fits. We are not affiliated with John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Claas or any other machinery manufacturer unless a product is described as genuine or licensed.
2.2 We take care to describe products accurately. Product images are for illustration, and minor differences in colour or finish can occur. If you find an error in a description or price, tell us and we will correct it.
2.3 Fitment information is given in good faith from manufacturer data. If you are unsure whether a part fits your machine, contact us with the tractor model and serial number before ordering and we will confirm.
3. Prices and payment
3.1 Prices are shown in pounds sterling. The Website lets you view prices excluding or including VAT; the price you pay is the inc VAT price shown at checkout. VAT is charged at the UK rate in force at the time of the order.
3.2 We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link through Stripe. Payment is taken when you place the order.
3.3 If a price on the Website is obviously wrong, we may cancel the order and refund you in full before dispatch.
4. Orders and contract
4.1 Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it, and a contract is formed, when we send the order confirmation email.
4.2 We may decline an order if an item is out of stock or discontinued, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if there is a pricing or listing error. If we decline an order we will tell you and refund any payment in full.
5. Delivery
5.1 UK mainland delivery is free on orders of £75 or more including VAT. Below £75, delivery is charged by parcel size and shown at checkout before you pay. Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands, islands and other surcharge postcodes are priced at checkout.
5.2 In-stock orders placed before 3pm on a working day (Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays) are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 3pm are dispatched the next working day. Items ordered in from a supplier show an estimated delivery time on the product page and at checkout.
5.3 Delivery times are estimates. We are not responsible for delays outside our control, but if delivery is delayed by an event outside our control we will contact you and you may cancel the order and receive a full refund for any goods not yet delivered.
5.4 We deliver outside the UK to the countries and at the prices shown at checkout. International orders are sent on a DAP basis: you are responsible for any import duties, taxes and customs charges in the destination country.
5.5 Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave. Ownership passes when we receive payment in full.
5.6 Please check your parcel on arrival and tell us as soon as you can about any damage, shortage or incorrect item. Reporting quickly helps us claim from the courier, but it is not a condition of your rights under section 7.
Full delivery details, including services, timescales and international zones, are on our Delivery and Returns page.
6. Returns of unwanted items
6.1 Consumers have a legal right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving the goods. We extend this: you may return any unwanted item within 30 days of delivery.
6.2 To return an unwanted item, email us with your order number within 30 days of delivery, then send the item back within 14 days of telling us. Items must be unused, undamaged and in their original packaging. You pay the cost of returning unwanted items and we recommend a tracked service.
6.3 We refund the price of the goods, and the standard outbound delivery charge where the whole order is returned, within 14 days of receiving the goods back. Refunds go to the original payment method.
6.4 We may reduce a refund if an item is returned used, damaged or without its packaging, to reflect the loss in value.
6.5 Items ordered in specially for you and marked as special order at checkout are excluded from the 30-day unwanted returns policy, except for your 14-day statutory cancellation right where it applies.
7. Faulty or incorrect goods and your statutory rights
7.1 Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If a product is faulty or not as described, consumers have the right to reject it for a full refund within 30 days of delivery, and after that to a repair or replacement, or a refund if that is not possible. A fault that appears within six months of delivery is treated as present at delivery unless we can show otherwise.
7.2 If we send the wrong item, we will send the correct item or refund you, and we pay the return postage.
7.3 In addition to your statutory rights, every product we sell carries a 12-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of delivery. Our Warranty page explains what is covered and how to claim.
7.4 To report a fault, email us with your order number, a description of the problem and photographs where possible. We will arrange collection or send a prepaid return label, and replace, repair or refund once the fault is confirmed.
8. Fitting and use
8.1 Our products are designed to be fitted by a competent person. Fitting instructions supplied by the manufacturer should be followed, and electrical parts should be matched to the machine’s system voltage. Damage caused by incorrect fitting, incorrect voltage, modification or use outside the manufacturer’s specification is not covered by the warranty in section 7.3, though your statutory rights are unaffected.
8.2 Road-legal lighting must carry the approval marks required for use on UK roads. Where a product is described as for off-road use only, it must not be used on the public highway.
9. Liability
9.1 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any matter that cannot be limited by law, and nothing in them affects your statutory rights.
9.2 We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable.
9.3 For business customers, our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the price paid for that order, and we are not liable for loss of profit, business or downtime.
10. Website use and content
10.1 The text, images and other material on the Website belong to us or are used with permission. You may copy material for personal, non-commercial use only.
10.2 The Website may link to other sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
10.3 Our Privacy and Cookies Policy explains how we use personal data and cookies.
11. General
11.1 Events outside our control: we are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, but section 5.3 applies to delayed deliveries.
11.2 If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest continues to apply.
11.3 These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Consumers living in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their own courts.
11.4 If you have a complaint, email or call us and we will do our best to put it right. Consumers can also get free advice from Citizens Advice.
